IAMDK Brunch

​

The I Am My Daugher's Keeper Brunch is a traveling brunch hosted by IAMDK Co-Founders Sommer Davis and Tiffany Ellis. This transformative brunch includes a licensed family therapist on the panel of speakers and through communal conversation with brunch attendees, we explore the stigma attached to therapy in minority communities. We engage in multigenerational dialogue that has been said to strengthen communication and break down barriers in effectiveness, as stated by past participants. Our brunch is open to guests ages 10+ and conversations are moderated by our Co-Founders and their teenage daughters, Aolani and Samahra. Guests receive giveaways from event sponsors and there are activities for women of all ages!

IAMDK Empowerment Summit

​

The IAMDK Empowerment Summit is a full day experience curated for girls (beginning in fifth grade) and women age 18+. The Empowerment Summit is packed with useful information and includes panel discussions, breakout sessions specific to the needs of attendees (sessions for middle schoolers and separate sessions for adults) as well as keynote speakers.
